Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: And every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth, that it may bring more fruit (John 15:2)
In John 15:1-6; Jesus Christ lucidly states that he is the vine and we are the branches. Any branch detached from the vine cannot amount to something. Progress lasts, when a believer is attached to the source, the vine.
There are two categories of believers. Those who bear fruit and those who refuse to bear fruit. Jesus Christ said he will prune the fruitful ones to make them bear more fruit but the believers who have refused to bear fruit, He will cut down. The fruitless ones will be burnt in fire. John the Baptist spoke in Luke 3:9. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees; every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.
(1John 3:9) says the day you were born again, the seed of the word of God was sown in you. If your heart is a fertile ground, the seed will die first and produce trees of righteousness which will bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit; Joy,Peace, Longsuffering, Kindness,Meekness, Self control, Patience,Gentleness, Temperance and Faith. (Galatians 5:22-23).
It is the fruit of the spirit that will determine whether you will be in heaven or hell. It will also determne your access to favour . It is true you have been born again for many years, speaking in tongues, how many fruits of the spirit are in your life? May God not cut you off because of unrighteousness in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
According to ( 1 Corinthian 9:27), you can preach to others, win souls do all the charitable deeds yet go to hell for loosing the discipline to control your fleshly desires. Ensure you can make heaven before preaching to others. You need personal spiritual growth and development. Are you winning souls but you are not sure of heaven? Avoid being a cast away.

Dear Father, may i be delivered from beng a castaway after preaching to others in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
