"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the COMMUNION of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen" (2 Corinthians 13:14).
"Communion" refers to a partnership, a communication, a fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It means talking to the Holy Spirit and listening to Him talk to you.
This is how you get to know what He wants you to do. It's not enough to have a vision or to proclaim what you want; you've got to know the right steps to take to make that vision a reality, then you can go ahead and do it.
You see, it's not God's idea for us to always call on Him for our needs. Most ofvthe time, our cries and pleas to God are unnecessary, for He's given us the power to bring about whatever knd of change we want in our lives.
Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:17:18:
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints."
As you become acquainted with the great provisions that God has freely given you, not only would your prayer language change, you'd also begin to understand the necessary actions you need to take in order to enjoy your divine inheritance. You'd cease to pray the "Lord-give-me" prayers; instead, you'd be acting on the infallible Word of God and getting remarkable results. You'd know beyond doubt that all things are yours, and anything is indeed possible unto you.
