GOING FORWARD, THE ONLY OPTION

The Lord shall fight for you and ye shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:4)

In today's post, God is the the principal character and star in His effort to move and perform major miracles in the life of the
Israelites. Even now, the God of Moses still moves with miraculous powers in the lives of men. He will move in your life today and always in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

In our text now, the Israelites were on their way to freedom. The march out and forward was on and, the people were filled with praises, songs and laughter (Exodus 14:10-15, 26-30); in the air was the spirit of enjoyment, joy and exuberance.
At the peak of this most joyous moment of exit from slavery and agony, bad news came, Pharaoh relentlessly had a change of heart, some of his cabinet members convinced him to make a last-grasp effort to go after the Israelites. Pharaoh relentlessly pursued the Israelites with the chariots and mighty men of war.

Behind was Pharaoh, in front was the Red Sea, the beat and heat were on, there was tension, going back would mean Pharaoh and his company slaughtering the Israelites, men, women and children to the level of  sliced meat. The only option available was to go forward. In front was the Red Sea. Music no longer filled the air, a major needle had punctured the bubble, anger, regret and terror filled the hearts of the people. Moses went to God crying but God said to Moses, Why are you crying to me? Tell the Israelites to "go forward" Allow God to lead you in all steps you take in life. Never exclude Him from the equation of your programmes. It was a turning point for Israel. Never allow obstacles or fear blind you of the power, potentials and possibilities that rest only in God.

 The enemy will try to attack at the point of your celebration. You can surround seriously for forward movement but only God knows tomorrow, He knows what is on the rod and by the corner. By His tremendous power Pharaoh and his company died in the Red Sea, while the Israelites walked on dry ground in the midst of the sea, they saw the salvation of God and worshiped Him. As you go forward, hold on to God and you will testify.

                                                                   PRAYER
Father, teach me to hold on to you In every forward step I take in the name of Jesus Christ ,Amen.
                                                                  PROPHETIC PRAYER
God of TALKNA DO shall grant you victory in your office, business and against your enemies in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
