ONE TOUCH


If I can touch the helm of His garment, I shall be whole (Mark 5:28)

Today's text tells the story of a woman who hemorrhaged for twelve years and spent everything she had, even her last penny on doctors, both traditional and otherwise.
She went to many healing homes and prayer houses all to no avail. This Jewish lady's life was devastated by this issue of blood. What is devastating your life now? Is it barrenness or sickness? Is it poverty?
Are you running away from your house or father's house because of evil men? The solution is coming. The answer you need is around you.
You need the power of God. Jesus Christ is the word of God and the word of God is the carrier of power of God. You need the Holy Spirit. Are you born again? The Holy spirit lives in you. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you?(1 Corinthians 3:16)KJV.

The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity shall intervene in your matter. He rules in this dispensation. He has been in the earth since the day of Pentecost.

The woman with the issue of blood had problems. Sexually, she could not enter the temple. She had boundaries in every aspect of life, physically she was finished by the illness, socially, she was an outcast, she was ostracized, she was spiritually flat, down and out. But she said to herself I have heard about this man, if I can just touch the hem of his clothes, I shall be made whole. She had faith, she was determined to touch Him.
The crowed stood between her and Jesus Christ but she forced her way through and touched Jesus Christ and he knew virtue had gone out of Him. This was one touch that brought healing all round. She would resume worship in the temple, she would start making money again, no longer ostracized, a new relationship with her husband sprang up.

Our faith gets the attention of the master. Let your faith reach Him today. God knows the difference between a church goer and the heart that thirsts for God by pushing through poverty, barrenness, sickness, troubles to touch Him by faith.

Among the crowd, God will pick out your case and settle you any moment from now.

                                                     PRAYER
Father, give me the grace to push through pains, problems and touch you by faith in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
