"We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed" (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)
2 Kings 4:8-37 narrates the story of the Shunammite woman. Whenever the prophet Elisha went to shuhem, he stayed in
her house. However, this woman and her husband didn't have any child. When Elisha discovered this, he told the woman to expect a son. And in due course, she had a child.
Trouble struck later when the child died, but the woman knew what to do.
She quickly dashed off to the prophet Elisha with only one declaration on her lips, "it is well."
Though there was a [problem, she kept saying that all was well.] She had an expectation , and she held on to that expectation even when it seemed impossible, she kept on declaring until she got it.
Just as this woman, you have to look at your situation with trust in God. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ". God has made provision for you. In John 10:10, He says ".... I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of". [Message Translation]. You can have this life even now. Just say the prayer below:
"O Lord God, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Your word says"...Whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Roman 10:9, "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from dead. Thou shalt be saved, "I declare that I am saved; I am born again; I am a child of God! I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ.
Hallelujah.
Congratulations, you are now Born again!
